IPTV Setup Guides: Firestick, Android Box & Apple TV
After payment you receive two kinds of login: an M3U playlist URL and an Xtream Codes API login (server, username, password). Pick your device below; most setups take about five minutes.
Amazon Firestick & Fire TV
- From the Fire TV home screen, open Find → Search and look for a compatible IPTV player such as IPTV Smarters Pro.
- If the player isn't in the Amazon Appstore in Canada, install the free Downloader app and get the player from its developer's official website.
- Open the player and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Enter the server URL, username and password from your activation email.
- Wait for channels and the EPG guide to load, then start watching.
Android Box & Android TV
- Open the Google Play Store and install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro.
- In TiviMate, choose Add playlist → Xtream Codes.
- Enter the server URL, username and password we sent you.
- TiviMate loads the channels and EPG automatically; add favourites for quick zapping.
Apple TV, iPhone & iPad
- Install IPTV Smarters (Smarters Player Lite) or another M3U player from the App Store.
- Choose Add user → Login with Xtream Codes API, or paste your M3U playlist URL.
- Let the library load, then stream on your Apple TV, iPhone or iPad.
Samsung & LG Smart TV
- Open the Samsung or LG app store and install a compatible IPTV player (availability varies by model).
- Enter your Xtream Codes login or M3U playlist URL.
- If your TV model has no compatible player, plug in a Firestick or Android box instead.
Windows & Mac
- Install IPTV Smarters for desktop, or open VLC media player.
- In VLC, choose Media → Open Network Stream and paste your M3U playlist URL.
- Use a wired connection for the most stable 4K playback.
Android phone
- Install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro from Google Play.
- Log in with your Xtream Codes details.
- Cast to a TV with Chromecast, or watch on the go over Wi-Fi or mobile data.
M3U Playlist vs Xtream Codes API: Which Login Should I Use?
Xtream Codes API is the better choice in TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro: the app pulls channels, the EPG guide, catch-up and VOD automatically and keeps them updated.
M3U playlist is a single URL that works in almost any player, including VLC. Use it when a player doesn't support Xtream Codes.
